I wrote the following on the main board regarding Alastairs Clarksons reportedly heading to North as senior coach.

You guys on the north board can keep drinking the koolaid.
I don't even blame you, it's been a tough six years for all of us loyal North fans.
In fact I'd even say our last six seasons have been sadder, as a club, than St Kilda.
The only mobs whose supporters have had a worse time than ours would be the Crows and the Asterisks.
We couldn't land a big fish to save ourselves, were used as leverage multiple times, it was embarrassing
Finally we land a 'big fish' on big years and big dollars, by the name of Jareds Polecs
The Brads Scotts departure was a debacle. The less said about the Shaw thing, the better. Then Nobles
We lost a gun full forward for a packet of chips, he went on to win a flag at Melbourne the next season
We let go of a gun full back (and experienced leader) for twisties, he is now playing terrific footy for the Tigers
We signed an already over the hill Ziebells for two years (end '23), he wouldn't get a game anywhere else in the AFL
Then there were the unfortunate and rather sad off-field incidents involving Archer
Laidley and Daw 
Then our best player and legend of the club suffers serious illness not once, but twice
We get a #1 draft pick and it turns out he, well... I won't even say it, he's still a kid. But come on
For a while there we had a genuine corporate leader, he left us and we ended up with Bens Amarfios
I'm sure I'm missing some stuff in there as well but you get the picture.
We've been a horrid club to support for the past six years, all I can say is, thank **** we don't support Adelaide or Essendon.
Getting back to my original point, you poor buggers on the north board are drenched in koolaid, and I don't blame you.
But when you turn on Clarksons -- and you will -- I will be enjoying the schadenfreude.
You'll either turn on Clarksons when he takes a better deal, or in four years when you realise he is Terrys Wallets 2.0.
Hopefully the former, but I fear the latter

Firstly, who is this trolling? Who? My own club? Get your hand off it.
Secondly, is a single thing I wrote in there factually incorrect? No, didn't think so.
If you believe Clarksons is a good pickup for North, then great, let's discuss it, there's no need to censor those of us who disagree.
North is a great club and I'm happy to support them, I've been a paid-up member for almost 20 years.
I was there at Roosistence in '07, awesome memories.
I was there at the Dome when Sydney cheated with 19 men on the field (and Simmo arguably should have called them on it).
I was also there when Sydney cheated via tunneling and broke Aaron Edwards' leg. He was the never the same after that.
Sadly I wasn't there at the 'G when North beat the Hawks in that final with Jesse Smith playing a blinder. I had to work that night
Don't accuse me of 'trolling' North.
Or are you accusing me of 'trolling' Adelaide and Essendon? Because I stand by what I wrote.
