who is going to next weeks protest...

"Despite the violence, rally organisers in Sydney claimed the day was a success and warned they would hold a similar protest next week with the aim of shutting down the entire CBD. "We want to cause as much disruption as possible," organiser Jarvis Ryan told The Australian after the rally."

Hail the new revolutionist Jarvis Ryan.

I for sure am going next week and if I have to run over some kids who get in my way..well so be it. Should teach them to not sit in the middle of a busy road.

Would be better if they are Uni students..but I cant be choosy.

This sort of thing invokes feelings of violence in me. I want this person to be seriously hurt.

Same. These pathetic losers are wimps. As soon as you touch them they scream "Assault" but are the first to hurl things from a distance.

I find them very selfish in their ways. They just want what's good for them and expect the rest of us to think along the same ways.

If not we are branded "narrow minded ignorant racist".

It's a "dam if you do and dam if you don't" situation with these ****en far left cowards.

Just wondering the majority of posters pro war on here seem to be young could it be that they have never experienced the horrors of war & just heard & seen war glorified by movies & the likes of the RSL.

Hmm. How 'young' is young?

How 'young' are you?

The more I say the word it has no meaning. :D

My point is that you are making an assumption that seems to be based on the idea that once again having a certain view is locked into a certain group. Very ignorant.

Under 21 seeing most are at Uni the last 30 years war movies have made war lookadventurous & exciting they haven't been exposed to bombings rationing or loved ones coming home in a box.

Me I'm an old fart of 3o.

Haha well I'm just a little older fart of 32 so :p

I think it is fairly evenly split though in regards to those youngies of 20 and under. So much more information and being entitled to personal viewpoints.

But I am not old. :( ;)

No, I won't be going, I actually agree with the action being taken by George, Tony, John and friends. Besides the protesters are just Rent -a -Crowd anyway.

Hopefully this fool will get hit by a truck. I'll be the first to start a protest at his funeral. Ill throw golfballs at his parents, chairs at the priest and eggs at all his mates and start a chant similar to:
"one two, three four f*ck, this d*ckhead was hit by a truck"

What a bloody fool. Shutting down the city is really gonna get the message across!! Will just make the government more stubborn.

Yes war is an absolutely stupid idea. We should have just let Hitler do as he pleased.

Why can't the protesters do like the aboriginal did when they actually peacefully marched thru the Sydney Harbour Bridge, does anyone know wot i am talking about? I remember it being mentioned here recently.

You're probably right. They'd turn up to anything that uses the word "protest" and probably have no idea what their protesting about.

Thats pretty much what I saw of it

Problem is you get the anarchist mobs like the 'Socialist Alliance' hitching onto these things like a big blood sucking leech. They know theres gonna be a lotta gullible kids at these things, they pump 'em up with propaganda about how the police will resort to violence, and the police and the state is the enemy blah blah

then they just ensure theres gonna be some trouble there. bingo, police move in and the rabble rousers prophecy is fufilled. Suits their anto-establishment agenda, and makes an impression on some young minds. Classic propaganda and recruitment.

I form my own opinions. Really, do you think a uni student would think war is like what is shows at the movies? Really?

You will find most pro-war people are actually in the older bracket (according to surveys). Now, you are 30, so what wars have you seen recently that I wouldn't have witnessed/experienced? I mean, you wouldn't be able to remember Vietnam. So, what wars recently have you experienced?
