Actually, I think it was at Waverley Park, if memory serves correctly.
Yes, it was at Waverley.

Domenic Berry could have been someone, except he wasn't given the same opportunities as a Dunstall. A pity, as he was a very accurate kick.
Ahh... good times.
Stokes did a knee playing for Box Hill at the end of 2009 and was neither promoted to the senior list nor retained as a rookie at the end of 2010, after spending the year rehabbing his knee.
From memory, Stokes was recruited as a bit of a security blanket for Rioli (he's very close to Cyril).
Certainly did. The knee hadn't recovered.Stokes didn't play for Sturt in 2012. Not sure where he was, maybe he missed an entire year through injury.
Rumour from somebody who used to have some good information, O'Farrell used to try and cheat the skin fold tests. Would not keep himself in the best nick and then try and starve himself and work it all down when the tests were coming. Did some sports reporting just after he finished.Brett O'farrell - Really liked the look of him, injuries ruined him I think.
Is Gary Moss playing in the WAFL these days? I liked the cut of his jib. Others won't agree, but I was disappointed when he was delisted. I particularly recall a game in Tassie where he had a real crack..?
And also for giggles, thought I'd give my "mediocre Hawks 22" a go. And yes, they would beat Melbourne I reckon.

I'd swap Miller, who was a specialist forward pocket (in theory - he was really poor as a player) and Beau Dowler, who Hawthorn did occasionally play on the wing.
I'm very surprised you couldn't find a place for Thorp amongst those 22 players. He could even be captain-coach, like he is in the TFL for the South Launceston Bulldogs.
Probably more the lack of cartilage in his kneeKrummel could have been a good player for Hawthorn, but he was never the same after Byron Pickett ironed him out.
That was against Geelong at Kardinia Park.
I think it was against West Coast at Waverley. It was a soccer off the ground at the non-scoreboard end, legendary! I loved Stevo for some reason haha.
Did we trade Hargreaves for Aaron Lord??
