Some interesting stats

According to www.pro-stats.com.au , we are ranked 4th in clearances, 3rd in first possession, and the one that I thought was great was we are ranked no.1 in 1%s. The team of the last couple of years wouldn't be anyway near those stats.
Unfortunately, we are ranked 2nd in errors per game and 15th in contested possessions per game.
Thoughts?

These stats in particular are very telling. This year not only are we not getting the hard ball, we are barely getting the soft ball. We also break down so often accross half forward and just don't take enough contested marks (how good was Sylvia's last week?)

If you have the ball most of the time, there is no contested posession. The big difference would be in errors, I doubt you would have been remotely near top 10 in the flag year.

What ever your gameplan it's poo if you keep giving the opposition the ball. Just look at the Carlton game.
