Some useless numbers about personnel in our 25 games played this year because doing this spreadsheet is a much more enjoyable prospect than doing actual work:

- 38 players used.

- 9 players played every game (Grimes, Martin, Ellis, Grigg, Cotchin, Astbury, Rioli, Rance & Castagna)

- 3 players missed only 1 game (Lambert, Nankervis & McIntosh)

- 2 players missed 2 (Riewoldt & Butler)

- 18 players played 20 or more games (above named plus Prestia, Caddy, Houli & Edwards)

- All 18 players who played 20 or more games were in the premiership team. The other 4 being Vlastuin (16), Broad (10), Graham & Townsend (5 each).

- Most games played by a non-premiership player was 16 (Short)

- The full premiership 22 played a total of 3 games together (QF, PF & GF).

- From round 1 through round 16 we fielded an average of 4.6 non-premiership team members (8 games with 4, 5 games with 5 and 2 games with 6)

- 0-2 in two games with 6 non-premiership team members on the field. Rounds 7 & 9 (Dogs & GWS)

- 3-2 in five games with 5 non-premiership team members. Rounds 5 (MEL W), 8 (FRE L), 10 (ESS W), 15 (PA W), 16 (STK L)

- 2 players didn't play in a win (Morris & Batchelor - 1 game each)

- 4 players didn't play in a loss (Lennon & Griffiths with 2 games each and Townsend & Graham with 5 games each)

- Best win % by players with 10 or more games: Broad 9-1 (90%), Vlastuin 13-3 (81%), Prestia 17-5 (77%), Nankervis 18-6 (75%), Edwards 15-5 (75%) (team win % was 72%)

- "Worst" win % by players with 10 or more games: Short 10-6 (63%), Riewoldt 16-7 (70%), Lambert & McIntosh 17-7 (71%), Houli 15-6 (71%)

- Every player except Morris & Batchelor had a win % of 50% or better.

Feel free to add your own useless numbers about games played/not played..... or ignore this completely, that's probably a better use of your time.

Think you covered everything there with players so let me just leave this here:

In the last 50 years only 2 teams have won more premierships than Richmond - Hawthorn 12 and Carlton 8. Tiges have won 6 since 1967. Hows that for a team that's been "shit" for more than 30 of those years? Talk about a powerhouse when we're up and going!

- Grigg actually only had 6 hitouts for the whole season (half of Riewoldt's total).
- Astbury (25) and Broad (10) were the only players to play at least 10 games and not kick a goal.
- Rance had Richmond's best free kick differential at +18. Nankervis was worst at -15.
- Townsend kicked 16 goals with no goal assists. Vlastuin had the best assist/goal ratio with 9:2.
- Astbury was 2nd only to Riewoldt for contested marks (32 to 37).
- Astbury, Grimes, Rioli and Castagna the only Tigers to play every game and not receive a Brownlow vote.

And some historical context ones...

- You probably knew Riewoldt was 4th on our all-time goalkicking list (behind Richo, Bartlett and Roach), but did you realise Dusty was up to 13th? He should crack the top ten next year by passing 1980 premiership captain Monteath, CEO Gale & dad-of-a-gun Naish. He'll likely pass Balmey in 2019 for 9th.
- Dusty has also cracked the top ten for disposals (10th), while Cotch is in 8th. Sheedy sits between them with KB, Campbell, Knights, Bowden, Weightman, Deledio and Bourke making up the top seven.
- Martin and Cotch overtook Knights this year to become the 4th and 5th highest Brownlow pollers in RFC history (behind KB, Richo and St Francis).
- Cotch is our all-time leading tackler (stat only available this millennium) with 774, 86 ahead of Lids.
- Riewoldt (225, 14th) and Edwards (207, equal 19th with Gaspar) both moved into the top 20 for games played this season.
- Riewoldt moved into the top 5 for marks, passing Campbell, Cloke and Newman this season. He should get Gale and Deledio next year, leaving only Richo and Bowden above.

After I ran out of grog of the evening of the Grand Final, my Mate's Misses picked up a 6 pack of pre mixed Captain Morgan for me. I only managed to drink 4 of the 6 cans before I closed my eyes for a second and then woke up a few hours later at around 5am busting for a James Hird. I left the 2 remaining cans in the fridge when I left to head home later that morning.

Almost 2/3rds of our goals were kicked by players with even numbers. In the GF, only 4 of 16 goals were kicked by players wearing odd numbers.
3/4s of our Brownlow votes were gained by players with even numbers.

Over the entire season we had 38 players - 19 wore odd numbers and 19 wore even numbers.
In Rd 17 vs Brisbane, we had one passage of play where Vlastuin passed to Grimes, who passed to Prestia, who passed to Martin who kicked the goal (if only Ellis had run past for the handball).

Dion Prestia is wearing Delidio’s number 3 guernsey which he didn’t play in a winning final during his 243 games for us including 3 final attempts.
Prestia played 22 games and in 3 final attempts netting him 3 victories.
Life can be a female dog for some.

Thought I was going to see Groupie's phone number here...............

Am I right in thinking that Caddy and Prestia are the first ex-Suns players to win a premiership medal?

First inaugural GC suns players to win a flag, also got the only inaugural GWS player to have a flag in goatsend

For a CHB/FB in this era, +18 free kick differential is huge.

By comparison, in 2017, Hurley was +1, McGovern was +3, Daniel Talia was +1, Robbie Tarrant was -7, Phil Davis was +5, Steven May was +4. Bruce McAveney's love child, Heath Grundy, was -9. The only tall defender in the same ballpark as Rance is Jake Lever with +11.

Cheers.
