Can confirm this affliction affects other fields. I work with geologists and one guy in particular can't even read his OWN handwriting sometimes!

My handwriting has got worse as I've got older, I used to get commended on how neat my handwriting was in school but now it's terrible.
Still not as bad as some doctors handwriting though which you can't even read.

It's as if it's a pre-requisite to become a doctor or a professor to have illegible handwriting. I remember trying to read feedback from a Uni assignment once but couldn't make out anything that was written.

When I was in Singapore, I wrote out ten postcards to send home. My hand was killing me by the end of it! I simply don't handwrite much at all anymore, suffice for shopping lists and random notes. Kinda sad really

I handwrite all the time. I handwrite my notes for work and then type them up, I handwrite shopping lists, I write thank you notes. I prefer it even though I'm a fast typer.
