I even tried to convince Harvey to not nom In Bum Hole even though that actually fitted the theme.

How about we all just stick with the theme for our 'open round'.

I would say the contestant's shenanigans are a prompt. If needed, the rule can be extended to cover in word what it covers in spirit, but in general there's been an uptick in complaints about unaccepted noms.

i sent 1 song which was rejected and responded with a few other choices. Including justifications.

If a few extra songs in the Inbox is too much for people to handle I'm happy change my nomming technique and restrict communications until i've made a decision.

Worth reminding people of the second rule of the contest:

"The host's decision on accepting songs is final, whinging will just make you look like a loser. "

It is important that this rule is adhered to, otherwise the contest will degenerate because so few people will want to host.
