Yeah it's a massive whore really, but Blue Sky Mine remains one of my all time favourite Aussie rock songs. Absolute classic, it never gets old to me... The video clip is spot on - "Nothing's as precious as a hole in the ground" - cut to a tombstone in a cemetery.
I never understood the true meaning of the song when I was listening as a kid. Breaks my heart what happened to those miners
