Spare AFL Membership Full/Gold

Hey all, I'm heading to the grand final in 2 weeks and looking to buy grand final tickets, I am a AFL Silver Member and with 2 VIC teams getting into the GF this year it looks unlikely that the allocation will get to the silver member stage.

Looking for anyone that has a full membership that isnt going to the grand final that would like to let me use the barcode number to book a GF ticket (so all I will need is a photocopy of the card).
I wont need the card because I can just sign for my card if stopped by AFL staff on GF day, so its completely risk free.

I am willing to pay $100 per card for the privilege.

Seriously though, I am not familiar with the AFL members as I am a MCC member, but don't silver memberships look different from full/gold? Wouldn't said official then question how you were able to buy a ticket with only a silver membership?

The AFL signature check each year. Not all day but at various stages. I am an AFL Full member and have been checked twice in the past 3 years. They also look at the back of the card and that you are a Full Member. There is a risk with doing this which is that you wont get in if they see Silver on your card.

Doesn't Port Adelaide have some sort of package deal you can use to get in? You should pay for the privilege of entering our State. At least $700 entry fee to cross the border.

Thats a risk im willing to take, not a risk for the person that will lend me the barcode. there would be no possible way they could trace it back to the person because i would not let them see the paper ticket, ever.

Hmm, personally I wouldn't take that risk, but each to their own. Maybe try checking on the forums of the teams that lose this weekend. Some of these clubs possibly have large numbers of AFL members that haven't decided if they will go to the game yet or not.

Yeah I will have a look.
I also have a full time student card so concession would be fine also.
Not a bad deal $100 back when a full member concession I think is only around $200 a year.

I am doubling my offer $200 for letting me use the barcode to buy a ticket, I can buy yours for you also, im in adelaide, there is no line up at all here, bought them last year and got 6 rows from the fence. So that will also save u 5 hours lining up in busy melb.
Concessions fine as well as adult.
I need around 3 but 1 or 2 is fine.
