Cant see us trading out some of our elite young talent for Beams , he is the Lions player to lose , if they stuff it up we will be there.

good catch. they will drag this out, not a bloody doubt! pictures of new coach etc all over the weekend etc. The AFL are bloody smart operators. They have QLD RL nailed in so many ways. From schools, girls and womens footy, multicultural, indigenous, etc. smart operators.

I imagine the actual reasons for his departure aren't widely known at all.

If you knew nothing about the club or didn't follow it and looked solely at the side winning more games, then naturally you would say he deserves more time.
