Opinion Speculation over - Eade Coach

Seems extremely unlikely, DWD.

We know JW isn't exactly telling the whole truth given what he said about the players and such. We know that's incorrect, given what actual players have said.

Also, I'm not sure that the new Coach has to be here for the transfer period. This when when a lot of Coaches take breaks and the list managers take control. A call will be made to the Coach to confirm sure, but he doesn't need to be there.

Surely someone like him doesn't have to um and ar through a presser.

and take a sip of water during fire. He gave a 5 min statement then "answered" questions for about 15 mins. Bluey didn't really have a statement as such and almost treated it as an after game presser, with all the questions he was fielding. Bluey's presser went for about 20mins and was about 17min of full-on questions.

Now I''m one down and pretty disappointed.

To be honest, this coaching thing is all total bullshit anyway. Look at the history of Clarkson, Bomber, Sheedy, Malthouse etc. etc. They've all been considered useless at one stage or another and closed to being sacked but then they win a cup and all of a sudden they are the coach of the century, greatest evah! What, does Sydney sack Longmire this week because of the second worst GF final performance ever? Do they sack Hinkley because they should have one more games at the end of the season and ended up on top? Do they sack Lyon because they came second last year and didn't improve?

But what is a 'proven' coach? It's like saying that every Brisbane coach (with their 20% winning record) before Leigh Matthews was a dud. Maybe it was the fact that he had brownlow medalists and champs coming his out arse during the early 2000's that helped him a wincy bit? Time will tell, but Gold Coast won't win a flag just by having a proven coach there.

If the players had anything to do with this they need to be sacked .there job is to play football maybe if a few more put there head over the ball we would have played finals.very sad day for the club
