Is it possible Bomber really meant that he'd like to stay but since (at this point in time) Hirdy is the senior coach, he is actually leaving. Remember he has already had his manager approach us, so quite possibly he's already made his mind up. Would be a bit hypocritical of him to criticize the sacking of his mate Sando and rule out the Crows job then not criticize the sacking of his mate Hirdy and take his job, especially since he would have forced Hird's sacking with his remarks about only wanting the head job.

I would be stunned if Bomber does not come to the Coast. There is "surely" no way our Board would have sacked Bluey had Bomber not already committed. There is also no way he would be $1.10 with Sportsbet (the bookies are 99.99% on the money when it comes to things like this).

I will say this: If Bomber is not appointed coach then the Board of the Suns should be replaced for what has happened as it would be a monumental error.

Surely lightning won't strike twice for the QLD clubs? A little over 12 months ago the Lions thought they had Roos in the bag and we all know how that ended up. However, given Essendon seems to be losing everyone anyway, I'm not sure Bomber has it in him to abandon the club if they sack Hirdy.

I think he's playing cryptic. However, last night @ the Essendon B&F he articulated that he wants to coach again, doesn't want to be an assistant.

SUNS I think we could, but if the outcome from the Bombers board meeting today is Hird is sacked I wouldn't hold my breath. Unless Bomber has told the Suns otherwise (ie he wants the GC job)

Well we've removed the Coach the Club thought was wrong for us

we knew.
like we know Bomber wants to stay at EFC. we know hird will go.

we know all sorts of things....from yesterday. we knew Bolrton flew somewhere. I picked that up from the tele, it happens he flew southwest not north...

But today, we know nothing. zilch, zip, zero more than yesterday.

we even had more accurate speculation yesterday.
