Most people who grew up in Whyalla knew by age 7 that you need to throw the first punch.

The staff allocation folks hated the graduate program leader so I got sent to the Forestville branch that had been held up the week before.

Mate of mine who worked at NAB got held up (at Lockleys I think) then once he came back they moved him to Woodville (I think). A week later he got held up again. Both times armed. Needless to say, that was it for him in the bank.

Gotta say, I never thought the Rumours thread would get here....

Mt Pleasant was the worst. It got held up twice in a few years, including by the infamous bicycle bandit, despite being three doors down from the police station. Now it's a distillery called Robber's Dog.

His Limoncello is sensational and he makes an amazing apple pie moonshine cocktail. Highly recommend stopping in if in the area.

Only in the movies mate... he suffered pretty bad from that, they hopped the counter with sawn off shotguns in the second one, not a good time.
