ICT have been sanctioned by SPFL and given a 15 point penalty.

It looks increasingly likely they will be relegated back to League Two, but it is an amazingly even league, so hopefully they can fight back.

Just out of interest, have you ever seen a league where the top two teams have lost more games than the bottom two.

All the best to ICT and their fans. Being a County fan, I do give the few ICT fans I know a bit of stick, but I'd love to see another Highland Derby in the Premiership again, so I hope they can survive and return to their glory days.
ICT may end up safe now that Dumbarton have entered administration and have been stripped all their points.

Time to get the interior decorators in down Ibrox way and fix that up.

Incredibly small time claim to begin with when Real have 15 European Cups, like Port Adelaide claiming to be the most successful Aussie Rules club (trophies in weaker competitions, different entities), but they are now not even the most successful club in their own city across both incarnations

Ross County score twice in the 97th and 99th minutes to rescue a 2-2 draw against fellow strugglers Hearts. The draw keeps Hearts in the relegation playoff position ond County two points ahead in 10th.

Josh Nesbit's 97th minute goal was his third goal for the Staggies in the last month. After a slow start to the season, he appears to be finding his feet in the County midfield.

County's next game is away at Aberdeen who are struggling themselves, losing four of their last five.

Aberdeen have really fallen away after such a bright start to the season, they have now lost 4 league games in a row, this time 2-1 at home to Ross County.

County have overcome their own losing streak over the Christmas/New Year period, going into their Boxing Day clash away at Dundee they had lost 4 in a row but since then they drew with Hearts and now defeated Aberdeen for their second straight away win, an impressive feat considering they hadn't won away for 15 months before the Dundee game.

The league table is tightening a little with only 5pts separating 5th placed St Mirren and 10th placed Ross County, and Hearts appear to have awoken from their early season slumber and sit only 2pts further back.

And despite Celtic's 3-0 loss away at Rangers, they still look comfortably ahead of the pack and should cruise to another title. :(

That result would have made the title race interesting if Rangers hadn't taken their eye of the ball in the last two fixtures. Resting players etc cost them 5 points, then they made 3 points back up with the derby win. Still 2 points worse off.

Celtic smoking Leipzig has come back to haunt a bit. The next CL game against Brugge, Brugge really did their homework and figured out that Celtic's attack is mostly down the right with Kuhn / Johnston. Cut that off and operate a decent press and just wait for Celtic's left hand side - Taylor, Scales, Hatate, Maeda - to cough up the ball. Zagreb copied Brugge and then Rangers have x 2.

Timely result with the window open. Must sign a left winger to rotate with Maeda and really need a new left back if Tierney is not happening.

Ross County won 1-0 at Kilmarnock this morning and created a little piece of history in the process, this is County's 12th season in the Scottish topflight (all in the last 13 seasons) and it is the first time we have won three away games in SPFL in succession. What makes this little run all the more remarkable is, before our Boxing Day win at Dundee FC we hadn't won an away game since September 2, 2023, when we beat Kilmarnock 1-0. In between we played 24 games, lost 16, drew 8, scored 17 goals and conceded 53, including a 6-0 and two 5-0 defeats. :(

Sadly, this little run of form hasn't really helped our position too much, we have jumped from 11th at Christmas to 10th today. Thankfully, automatic relegation now looks a longshot, with St. Johnstone 10pts behind, but because Hearts have also found form, we are still 2pts from the relegation playoff spot, but we are also only 2pts behind 6th placed St. Mirren

Been a wild ride the last couple of weeks.

When Celtic dropped points away to Dundee United pre xmas you had Rangers fans up and about saying that if they beat Celtic in the new year game the title race would be back on with the lead cut back to 6 points.

Rangers did beat Celtic but either side of that game they lost to St Mirren and drew with Motherwell, Hibs and Dundee so the gap has grown to 15 points despite the win.

Celtic were awful in that game v Rangers. Next game Celtic need to set up with 10 behind the ball and play long balls to Idah. Works for the rest of the SPFL against Rangers :$

Their next game is against Ross County, so I hope their iffy form continues and we can sneak a point and stay ahead of Hearts who are away to Aberdeen.

After looking like they could challenge for second place, Aberdeen now haven't won in 14 games. Crazy swing in form.

It is still a crazy swing but I did see someone on a Celtic board at the time point out that they had 7 or 8 home games to start the season when they were 10 wins and a draw. They had a couple of games pushed back due to the cup and those games were all away games so it was skewed.

I would say too that no one would have really respected them at the start of the season after missing the split last season. They would have had time and space on the ball, as soon as they sat second all the other teams would have sat back with everyone behind the ball against them, like everyone plays against Celtic, and they wouldn't have the quality to break that down.

Falkirk finally sorting their shit out and not appointing coaches based on 'well he's got a different background to the last fella' and getting two promotions in two seasons would be nuts, felt like they'd be lingering in League One forever.

It's a good club with a good history, be great to see em back.

What's everyone's way of watching the games? Just bein/celtic tv?

Wanna start watching more again since Jota is back but Bein doesn't show all the games and I don't rate the Celtic tv commentators

The spfl only have games of the week which is really annoying, so its not a bein problem unfortunately, its how the rights have been sold domestically.

Only option is bein games (lucky you support celtic) or the broadcast from the clubs. Most clubs offer their own broadcast (not sure if they all have commentary). Maybe try the opponents live stream(if available)

I just watch Bein / Celtic tv. I've had annual subscriptions to Celtic tv since Ange started but decided to roll back to just Bein this season. Last season was a hard watch in a lot of games under Rodgers and as above Peter Grant sits me to tears. With the busy January period where there were heaps of games not on Bein I signed back up to Celtic tv month to month and I will just sign up, then cancel it month to month based on the schedule for the rest of the season.

Bottom placed St Johnstone appear to have gotten their act together winning their last two and closing the gap between themselves and safety to only two games.

Hearts early season troubles appear to be long gone, their recent form has been just as good as the top 2.

Caley have found some form after Big Dunc. Only a couple of points off the survival zone and would be sitting second if not for the points deduction
