A piece of paper with 'English degree' won't you get you a high paying job (for long). It's the theoretical knowledge that comes with the course that helps you in your employment. The benefits are what you learn. So what do you learn in an English coure??????? Its all I want to know not some stupid shitfight no one cares about. And this is the demise of the English language. You do realise noticeably poor language is an indictment on yourself? I mean, you don't have to speak Ye Olde English, nor do you need to be a walking Macquarie, but there's a big difference between speaking like a Hungry Jacks-dwelling rat and someone of decent intellect.
No. If you wanted to know what an English course entails, you should've said that. "Benefits" infers the byproducts of having a degree. Y'know, like the benefit of studying medicine for ten years is a stable, rewarding, high-paying job. My comprehension isn't the issue, your way with words is.
