so - we (the roosters) play St Helens in the World Club Challenge or whatever its called - anyone know whether it is being played in Australia or England?

St.Helens, Bradford, Wigan, Hull and Leeds are the top clubs in England but all these clubs are being pegged back by clubs such as Widnes (who came from Div.2 last year),and to a smaller extent Castleford.


The WCC is being played in England around Mid January and will draw a crowd in excess of 30,000.

I am pretty sure it is being held at JJB Stadium, Wigan. Sure get a large crowd as that is a neighbouring suburb to St.Helens.

I actually fell asleep during the game and made it a point just to tape the game when it was on replay and so far have not had a chance to watch it, so I can't really comment.

But from what I did see in the first half, looked like a really good game.

Fantastic crowd and full of voice....love the way they sing throughout the game.....something we in Aust. should copy.

Who won the g/f last year.....?

Bradford won the GF last year and the also beat Newcastle in the WCC.
