Finally some positive news. Lids and Rance both back this week

Maric still two weeks away so he should be right to go straight after the bye. Chris Knights also 2-3 weeks away.

Richmond expects to regain Brett Deledio and Alex Rance for next week's clash with Geelong as it attempts to turn its season around.

Surely Arseberry has done enough now to be considered best 22. Chaplin has been as bad if not worse than Grimes.

I'd still drop Grimes though because Rance and Chaplin worked well together last year. That's the only thing that is saving Chaplin right now.

would hope so. to rush him back and for him to do a full blown achilles would be negligent of duty. Mind you, who knows with our footy dept this year? They may just be desperate enough to try it.

Use the bye as an op to buy another week. Play another kid this week. Even assess the risk knowing we have Melbourne and GWS (not that those games are anything like automatic wins given our form, mental state and game plan).

Honestly I'd say we're pretty likely to drop the game next week anyway, better to give him time to get 100% than bring him back early and aggravate the problem.

They should rest Morris too so he can have 2 weeks to try and get his shoulder right. We will need him for the games after the bye if we want to try and salvage our season.
