Percentage of Rounds in Portions
of the Ladder in Different Eras
of the Ladder in Different Eras
- From 1997 the Swans have been in the top 8 on the ladder after a completed round of matches more than any other club. In the same period they have been placed in the bottom 4 on the ladder after a completed round of matches, fewer times than any other club.
- The results this year saw the Cats replace the Eagles in 4th place on an all-time table of percentage of rounds placed in the top 4.
- After the Cats, the Bulldogs have spent the least time in the bottom 4 places on the ladder in the last 5 seasons. (Two clubs were never there.)
- In the last 5 seasons with the exception of the Suns, only one club has never been at least once in a top 4 position after a completed round of matches.
- In their first season, the Suns never placed higher than 13th on the ladder after a completed round of matches. Only one club failed to be placed at least once in the top 4 in their first 5 seasons and 8 current clubs made the top 4 on the ladder after a completed round of matches fewer times than did the Students in their first 5 seasons.
