How many times has a team kicked three goals after the siren in one game, like Sydney did tonight?

And has any team done all 4?

I remember the West Coast Eagles doing something similar in a game against Hawthorn, but given it was way back in 1994 I don't recall exactly what happened that day.

I think Sumich kicked a goal after 3 of the sirens

Since the reintroduction of the mid-season draft from 2018, is it possible for a senior player to switch clubs mid-season, and have there been any examples of this to date? I don't recall any but some obviously might have escaped my attention. For a hypothetical example Zach Merrett tried to leave Essendon for Hawthorn at the end of last season but the trade fell through, and so far 2026 is proving about as good a year for the bottom placed Bombers as 1929 was for Wall Street investors. If Zach Merrett, coach Brad Scott and Essendon officials had a meeting mid-season and it was mutually decided it was in everyone's best interests for Merrett to leave Windy Hill straight away, could Merrett nominate for the mid-season draft, be picked up by Richmond and continue 2026 as a Tigers player, providing Richmond had room in their salary cap?

I'm sure that hasn't happened. These are the rules covering player eligibility:- https://play.afl/sites/default/files/2026-05/2026 MSRD Information - FAQs.pdf

2019 was the first year of the Mid-Season Rookie Draft. You'll find it on DraftGuru named as the 2018 AFL Mid-Season Draft, but it was held in May 2019!: https://www.draftguru.com.au/years/2018/midseason_draft
