As I had only seen him play once I didn't want to make a comparison & sound stupid, should have backed myself.

Is it ludicrous to make the suggestion of SS going number 1? I don't think so. Not just based on today but AA honours and having a carnival arguably better then Rich. Also, Tommy Rockliff today proved that he has Top 15 potential, absolutely killed it...Sidebottom understandably took the spotlight off him a bit, but his performance was incredible, got something like 30 touches and 4 goals.

Why not? He played better than I've ever seen Watts play!

Scully will go No 1 next year, both outstanding as bottom agers.

Reckon, Melbourne, WCE, Freo and Port will now have some additional thinking to do.
