I looked up a comparison between Gilham and Pettigrew for this year and Gilhams stats look pretty good. The Grew is probably disadvantaged by the fact that Hawthorn have had a more successful season but still Gilham's having a good year no doubt.

Now that is nonsense. He was every bit as good for North as Chaplin was for Sturt or Pettigrew for West or Carlile for South.

Thats exactly what I thought when I read it, now if you say Luke Peel was hopeless while playing for North Adelaide and then the Eagles I would fully agree.

The poor boy couldn't get out of the Roosters Magoos and even at that point it was a struggle for him to get in them.
