After 2016 he banned the third man up rule, a decision that probably cost the Bulldogs a couple of flags since then.

The optics aren't good though, it wouldn't wash with other businesses.
Why has Hocking gone straight back to Geelong? He could have gone to 100's of different jobs.
There should be rules to prevent this particularly when his rule changes have helped Geelong's soft game style.
It stinks like a sardine in a suit pocket.

Hocking is a Moron whose constant rule changes and modifications to the MRP/Tribunal really soiled the game.

You make it sound like him returning to Geelong is a great thing for the Handbags, I would argue the opposite given his track record at the AFL. He ain't fit to tie Brian Cook's shoelaces.

Just relax, Geelong are on a slippery slide down the ladder starting as soon as next season and given your (unfortunately) great draft haul, The Tigers flag window has been regenerate (ugh), esp as Dusty looks as fit and slim as he has been in years

Its up and coming teams like Freo and Carlton Richmond flogs need to be worried about, not a washed up GeeGronk.

You could throw HUNDREDS of rucks in the middle and they still couldn't beat the Gawny/Dogga tag team.

Then after 2018 he brought in the Grigg ruck rule (no prior opportunity). The 666 rule to stop Richmond's tactic af starting behind the ball as they were want to do, and the kick in after a point to mitigate the famous forward press. Didn't cost Richmond a couple of flags.

Only if he brings in a minimum age requirement to play finals (30) would Geelong actually have a chance at a flag

....these days 30 years old is Geelong rookie list territory. :drunk:
