Did they do the same thing?

In answering that and not trying to delve too deeply into the events of that night, I think the actions of one of the two players had the potential to be far more dangerous than those of the other.

Has one had more chances than the other?

I'm not suggesting that Fraser hasn't made a mistake or two but he has not been the serial offender that Lawrence has.

Answer those for yourself and you'll have your answer.

I will say that if St Kilda had not acted so harshly that we'd be coping exactly the same amount of criticism for NOT taking a bigger stand against a repeat offender.

I'm a big fan of the way Lawrence plays and the passion he has for the club. His contract runs out at the end of the season and had it not been for his on-field misdeamenours I would have wanted the club to re-sign him (albeit on a much reduced contract). I just think that by not acting we would be sending out the wrong message to the many young and seemingly intelligent younger players at the club.

That's just my opinion anyway. I'm sure the other saints fans will have their own thoughts.

One is a serial offender with alcohol & partying etc, the other had drinks the night after the game (not the morning after, because that's your after match recovery session).

A slight difference?

No ****.

one is only a couple of snags short of the full bbq, the other is three six packs short of a slab. You work out who is who,

I agree with Sainter fully on this one. The main focus of the incident wasnt the drinking, because most players, if not all, enjoy a beer after the game to wind down, I belive the main focus was on the outcome. Lawrance ended up in a car accident resulting in bad publicity for the club and player Fraser didnt have an accident (infact I have no idea HOW he got home at all) and recived no bad publicity. End of story.
