I like Dave's team except I would swap Shirley for Begley. Otherwise it is pretty spot on. Lets hope we can get this team up and running in the next couple of weeks!

I was actually tossing up between Shirley and Massie.

Hmm it is an interesting one isn't it. Both Shirley and Massie have improved this season which is terrific. I just feel that Begley is that peg above both of them. I am also not sure where Ronnie fits into the picture. With Stevo, Carey, Perrie & Welsh in forward line I struggle to find a spot for him. These are the headaches we have been dreaming about!

My boy got through without injury!!!!!!! My heart was in my mouth everytime he went near the ball but it was just great to see him out playing again - and he has qualified now for the Eagles for the finals

Marty, there is no chance of all of these players returning next week. In fact I would be surprised if any return.

Welshy won't play this week - still needs 1 more week to get the back right. Massie will be available - doubt he will get back in straight away, might need a go at Norwood first. Stevens is injury free - but might lack the match fitness, however if Carey doesn't come up................might be worth the risk.
