Yeah good one CJH, loved your preview, even more after the game. :) Ah, it was a good game, the better team on the night won, better luck next time.

These are a few of the gems from the match preview:

"This in itself doesn't bode well for Adelaide, but it gets worse when you consider that they are coming up against the might of the formidable Tiger defence, who you must say are in rare form. "

"These players are going to have to be watched very closely as they are all as good as it gets. I still give us the nod in midfield strength though as we do run a lot deeper in quality."

(Anyone see where the Tiger midfield went? I haven't seen them since the 3rd quarter.) :)

"I think that even if Adelaide do perform well in the midfield, they will be short of sufficient fire power up forward to post a winning score."

"Aside from that, just play our normal game as it will always be better than anything Adelaide can produce."

Well, the advantage of hindsight. To be fair CJH, you also made a few good points.

So, CJH, tell us, what did you think of the game, then.

Crows.ok,

I am writing up a review of the game as we speak - I will be sure to post a link so you can all read and enhance your glee! :o

I try and write the review based on both teams playing near to their best football with the available talent. It would be easier for me if our players phoned ahead to me and told me that they would be leaving their hearts at home and to expect an insipid performance!

Yes I have had a little rethink on the weaknesses, and will highlight this in no uncertain terms.

Oh, and ant, maybe you soon will have the pleasure of trying to preview a game, wave it in front of the opposition supporters and then have it all go pear shaped in front of you!

That is another pitfall I forgot to mention!

CJH mate, no hard feelings but I thought you were a bit harsh on us, even taking into account both teams playing at their best. You gave some credit to our midfield but just about nothing else. And you talked up the Tigers quite a bit, which is fair enough, as it is Tigers based. And no weaknesses......

Crow.ok, I love the fact also that when we beat good teams it's cause they didn't play at their best, of course THAT was the reason.... I mean we couldn't win if they played at their best

ant we got beaten by 2 players from your side and about 18 of our own im not taking anything away from your side at all u guys wanted the ball more than we did and mcleod and burton killed us we had no answer for them its sorta funny how we get rid of 2 monkeys off our back in north and eagles in perth now we seem to have the crows as our new monkey on our back.but u guys played well congrats.
cheers!

Sorry for the crazy bump but this preview was 16 years early and a little eerie !!!
