Carlton
Which player is that important to their club if you stop him playing well his club falls over....

Jonathan Brown = Brisbane
Brendan Fevola = Carlton
Matthew Pavlich = Fremantle
Lance Franklin = Hawthorn
Brent Harvey = North Melbourne
Brad Green = Melbourne
Chad Cornes = Port Adelaide
Matthew Richardson = Richmond
Nick Riewoldt = St. Kilda
Daniel Kerr = WCE

Disagree. As last night shows Roughead can stand up and kick goals, or Hodge can chip in with a few.

it is clearly fev

he has kicked 50 odd goals, so far

eddie betts is about second, with less than 20

without fev, they have no proven goalscorer

Yeah, I think in a recent game, they went to Fev as a forward target about 120 times and Fisher was the next most with about 20.

Richo as you saw against Carlton and will probably see in Richmond's next match (which he probably won't play in).

They fall apart without him or if he is shut down.

Its a split between Fev and Pav. Both are the only attacking option in the team. But you dont even have to worry about Pav now you'll still beat Freo. But Blues have Judd therefore Freo finally win something. Im waiting for a derby comment after this one, which would then be followed by one on 0 premierships. Check-mate.

How about Simon Black?

Look at yesterday, how many games do brisbane lose when brown/bradshaw kick 9 between them and power has 32 touches?

Black still managed 23 touches yesterday, but at 52% efficiency and 7 clangers.

Brisbane showed earlier in the year that they can win without Brown playing well, black is more important as he's the heart of their midfield and only top-class midfielder without lappin in the side. (No disrespect to power, but for all his trying he couldn't win them the game yesterday, but an in form black or lappin could've done it).

Stop black and you're half-way to beating the lions.

Stop Brad Green and Melbourne are a rabble. His hardness is crucial to the team.

Unfortunately for you he is very hard at the ball now.

That would have been a good troll 5 years ago champ, but not now.

Back on topic, it has to be Fev, very rarely do Carlton win when he doesn't kick at least 4.

Out of that lot I'd say Fev...

But this season I think Didak is the heart and soul of Collingwood, when a team shuts him out of the game they seem to be really missing something... In the last two weeks the Doggies and the Blues have kept Didak quiet and both times the Pies have lost - albeit last week they did lose some talls before and during the game but you get my gist.

He's not everyones favourite player but he is dynamic and when he's firing, Collingwood seem to lift.
