Sorry for a useless thread, but does anybody know if the rows at subi oval start at a at the fence and go up, or vice versa. I need to know

Re: Please Read this QUICKLY!

A is on the fence, U is the last row before the first promenade.

Re: Please Read this QUICKLY!

I sit in the coaches box, handing out team sheets, working on the electronic magnet board, speaking to certain people about risk, management and planning..my ideas ocassionaly get shot down by some big fella from South Freo but I like where I sit.:)

Re: Please Read this QUICKLY!

im still reading, Larrikan where do you normally sit at Subi? - not behind the goals at the 3 tier stand I hope;)
Noooo

I actually live in Melb now, but my seat at subi is Railway side, 3 tier stand end, just outside 50m

Why do you ask?

Any idea where you're going to sit next year, Darren?

Stay away from the seats at the city end at ground level near the players race. The sun shines in your eyes all day long there in afternoon games and is so bad you are better off just watching the game on TV IMO. It's shocking.

My old man and i had seats there when we first became members many years ago before we switched and got seats on the other side of the ground. I would never sit there again.

I am a bit worried about this new stadium and how they are going to allocate seats there. Existing members better get first choice. I will be trying to avoid the equivelant seat in the stadium like the plague. The angle of the sun in afternoon games is an important factor in deciding where you get your seats at Subi.

Re: Please Read this QUICKLY!

i typically sit with my legs right up against the seat infront because there is hardly any space between rows,

What are you talking about?? I never feel like I'm about to fall off a tightrope and then down off the balcony onto the people below when I squeeze to my seat (middle of the row)

Seriously, the funniest thing is that I actually don't know what it's like to watch live footy without my knees touching the seat in front of me.

Has anyone ever run across a venue of any sort where the numbering or lettering of the rows doesn't begin at the front?

I got tickets in row AA at Subi this year for the Bon Jovi concert, and they were 27 rows from the fence.

Put a couple of Victorians in those seats and they won't be complaining about Docklands anymore!!
