I know its been done before, but I'm very pissed off!!

It's a joke that our staduim fits 42500, it's f****** bull**** c***sucker!

I'm been on the waiting list for 7 years, was on the computer at 8:55 and still missed out!!!! :(

It's a joke, that so many people are going to miss out. Seeing all those old people (Over 60's get tickets pissed me off, go lawn bolwing like normal oldies, they sit there and don't get involved except windge about the young supports...Hand over your memberships)

If this issue isn't resolved in 5 years, then WCE will suffer with a lack of young supporters.

Also when I pick up the Sunday times, the attendance better read 42,345!

End rant. Just needed to vent my frustration.

Others feel free.

It's also bulldust that Carlton member had first crack before "In the wings"

Our club finished top 4 and all membership bases should of had a crack before the filth

I got tickets with In the Wings really easily tbh. Actually got a pair together, then went back in and got another pair for mates 5 min later.

Was easier than most home games.

But yeah you won't get any argument from me about subi being a steaming pile of shit

It's not officially a West Coast home game - it's an AFL game so there has to be an allocation of tickets set aside for Carlton members which although frustating for West Coast members who miss out is perfectly reasonable.

I haven't seen how many tickets were made available for Carlton members but in all fairness it should have been around the 3000 mark, if not more.

WCE_Phil dont give up yet mate :thumbsu: Try General Public tickets at midday. There will be at least 3000 tickets available. See how you go

I hear you though. Waiting list since 2005. Sick of people not turning up who dont put it up for re-sale.

Don't hate but I got priority access yesterday with my Vic membership. Best thing I did moving over to Melbourne. After being stuck on the waiting list for three years and going no where, I moved over here, got access to 6 games plus finals priority access for under $100. Plus if I ever move back to Perth my years as a Vic member count as years on the waitlist. If that's not value for money I don't what is.

I've been to 7 games this year, via generl public or "In the wings."

Just frustrated lol!!!!

I reckon come finals time. We could easily get crowds of 75K especially against popular victorian clubs like Carlton, Collingwood, Essendon.

Imagine 70k WCE fans going nuts, it would just be as impossing as a Collingwood game! :(

Sadly it will never happen.

I've been to zero, be happy you've been able to be to 7

I would say that the atmosphere on Saturday will be the same as a Collingwood game. Given the fact that we will outnumber the Carlton fans, should we get on a bit of a run the crowd will be rocking.

just out of interest what would happen in a finals match between freo and west coast??

what is the ticketing situation there??

Available tickets would be split proportionate to the number of members for each team so we would be allocated a bit over 50% of the tickets as we have a larger membership.

There would still be some tickets set aside for public release as there is for any game/final.

Why is it a AFL game and not a WCE game.

Why aren't the team rewarded for great home and away seasons?

3.2 million will be made in ticket sales for the game, every penny should be in WCE pockets!

The AFL hosts the finals and as such all grounds are considered a neutral venue.

We get rewarded for our season by not having to travel, that's as far as it goes.

Quiet frankly that's BS!

Which ever teams earn a home final the club should be reward financial also.

Even a rich club like us, 3.2 million is alot of cash.

We are entitled to that money!

What if Melbourne earnt a home final, I'm sure they would benefit greatly from 3 million from one match.

Totally disagree. Profit should be split between the clubs. Other teams that made the finals are 'entitled' to money too - especially as they have extra costs involved in playing a extra game.

Melbourne would also benefit from playing away to Eagles/ Collingwood etc if it's split - they get nothing under your system - just costs.

We get to not travel, plus fans get a better opportunity of attending. Fair enough.

We'd also get the benefits from play Collingwood last week re finances.

I don't think it is even split though. It is AFL revenue. We just get a small cut to cover costs depending on where we end up.

Exactly, perhaps something like

50% goes to the homes team
25% goes to the away team
25% goes to the AFL

556,531 attended final games last year (Excluding the replay) and the average price of $70 a ticket. The AFL made a whooping 39 million.

I think the clubs who earnt home finals, play finals should be entitled to a slice of that!

Underdog I'm not a w***er thank-you.

It's the truth, our support base is boring, unless we are winning, Subi is dead quiet!!

The amount of times I go to the game, I see the older supporter sit there and not say boo! If thats the way you enjoy football, thats fine by me, but hand over your membership to people who are passionate and make some bloody noise!

Get into the game and try lift the boys!

67,000 people turned up to our last final - do we deserve a share of that?

For last weeks final (MCG), I think profits from tickets bought with a Pies membership should go to the Pies, and profits from tickets bought with a WC membership should go to us. Money from AFL members, finals series tickets, neutrals etc. should go to the AFL.

For a Subi final it's harder because we are constrained by the size of the ground. We can easily fill every seat without neutrals or opposition members.

I'm happy for finals tickets at Subi to be sold as per H&A games (ie there are approximately none for anyone who isn't a WC member), but if we're going to go down that path then the same rules should be applied to AAMI Stadium, Gabba, SCG, Docklands etc.
