Probably one of the bigger questions in this weeks trading, ive narrowed it down to 5 players to choose from

Wonemirri- could be back on the rookie list at any time and is almost guaranteed to play for melbourne until he does. Should average 50-70

Selwood - Never guaranteed a spot, if he does, will be a good pickup

Masten- 40k more, never certain with coast rookies

Ebert - Virtually same as selwood

McNamara - Ditto

Any other players plz mention

Either way, I think it is time to upgrade him; see the good value midfielders thread for ideas.

Woenamerri is one I'm closely looking at. However I'm a little worried that he might be back onto the rookie list at any given time. People are saying Round 8 which could be ok, but what if its Round 7? Or Round 6?

I don't really think you can go wrong with Selwood or Masten.

Masten is cheaper but will score higher.

True, as a wce supporter ud probably know the best, do u expect selwood to get a regular game, i watched the game last week and believe he shuld.

i was leaning toward Scott Selwood, but having a gander through the WC board a few seem to think he wont be in the team for a lot longer.
So then its down to Woenamirri whos just as risky or Masten but then i lose out on 40k and wont have enough to trade to the gun i want.

I had masten from the start so not really a problem, ive also looked through the westcoast board and am now also considering woenamirri
