Townsend hits one cross for every 38 shots he takes. Wouldn't really say Ba or Papisse Cisse were out and out target men like Benteke is. They can hold it up well but they had a bit more to their game than finishing off crosses. Crosses which won't be flying in as much as people think

Benteke can create with the ball pumped long to him also. He is the ideal player for Palace and is why they are going after him.

Palace play best with pace on the counter. Which was what made Bolaise so dangerous. Unless they change the way they've played their best football I don't think he'll do well there. Hoping he does go there I've got $5 on them to go down and I reckon they'll be a massive chance with square pegs everywhere and no distinct style of play

As much as some might choose to deny it there is no doubt at all that Liverpool don't want Benteke at the club. And that puts them in a weaker bargaining position.

Same as us with Nasri, Yaya, Hart, Bony. The fact that we don't want to pay them to sit in the stands automically reduces the amount we can expect clubs to pay for them.

In Liverpool's favour Palace would prefer to get the deal done now and Benteke in their team. Unless they want to use the Benteke funds for another purchase Liverpool couldnt care less if the deal is done now or the end of the window.

The way Benteke is being talked up on here, I am surprised that Real aren't considering him as a replacement for Benzema.

I'd rather have Troy Deeney.

The longer Benteke goes without regular football, the lower his price becomes. Pool need to get rid because of his wages, squad harmony, and the 12 other strikers they have on the books atm.

Really don't know. Have heard £20m but I don't know that theres a huge amount of clubs in need of a keeper that would be able to spend that much.

I think he's rated higher abroad than he is in England so there could be a few options there.

Loan this season is a possibility but it's pretty clear we'd prefer a permanent sale.
