Haggling over price isn't worth leaving the squad short though is it.

If they don't overpay for someone they'll get no striker and panic buy Evans for CB.

If we get more than the £15-20m I expected (with a probably payout and/or wage subsidy) I'll be happy.

Don't really care about Benteke. Different buyer, different seller, different league, different transfer window etc. Has no relevance.

Yes i mean its not like United have a 21 year old left back as a first teamer with an italan and dutch internationals also able to play there :$

CBJ going on loan is good for his development as he can play LB and also CB time.
 
I don't see LFC buying anyone well-known. Klopp said he doesn't feel we have anything major we need to do, and so we'll stick with the FSG approach of hoping to get 'value'. Given the amount of money around that most likely means well-known players won't move at normal prices, so a loan or a Klavan-type buy I think is all we would really go for.

If Chinese buyers are hanging around, respect them, tell them we've been waiting for this, and put the sell contract in front of them. Hopefully they don't notice it's only for Balotelli.

I've only ever known football clubs to be owned by rich individuals. Never had a problem with that even when we didnt have one.

I cheer for the blokes on the pitch, not in the stands.

Liverpool are owned by an American billionaire. They're supporters have chanted USA USA for Hicks/Gillett before they realised what they were like. They held up signs calling for Dubai Investment Capital to but the club.

I think Bilic is just about done with Carroll now after his latest injury.

If he could get Bony on loan and sell Carroll for 20m or so, I think he'd do it, but I can't see the owners doing that.

If we got Zaza as well though....

Blackett is also gone.
Mourinho will have like 2 years of winning with a veteran team. A load of youth talent will get offloaded and he will leave a mess when he is gone.

Chelsea's loaning policy is a legacy of his management. Players who will prob never get a game with the club.
