Damn i was very happy when we picked him up and had high hopes for him hope he comes back.

After he played his first game this year, among the best in the reserves by all reports was training well and improved his fitness i thought he had worked through his home sickness and would be a real chance of playing more games this season.

As for trade value, cant see him having much trade value with only two Adelaide teams and if he names one and says he will only play for them he will have no trade value at all.

If he does want to be traded back to Adelaide unfortunetly for him he's not really in a position to nominate his preffered club, he's only played one game and would be very stupid to say he'd prefer power over crows, or vice versa.

Some people just can't hack being away from their family, especially if they're not gettin opportunities and doubting their ability, it can all spiral pretty quickly, can't be too hard on the kid. Hopefully he gets his head straight and realises he wants to give it a good crack in Sydney

Walker is practically the definition of a downhill skier at this stage. He's like a bigger, more skilled Dennis-Lane. Guaranteed goal kicker when team is on song, but a one way player who offers very little if the midfield aren't firing.

If he came to the club and asked for it than so be it. It's hardly ideal and very poorly timed considering he could well have got another game in the run home but it's better he communicates to the club than just jump on a plane and head home.


In another sense it might ber better now than December. He needs to figure out if he really wants to play AFL football/ If the answers no than it's good for the club and player to know now before the 2012 lists are drawn up.
