The match starts at 2.45pm, therefore they would have to bullshit for a whole hour and fifteen minutes before the actual game would start (if on delay.)

3pm coverage in Melbourne/Geelong.I gather that means it's only on a half hour delay instead of the usual hour.

The website says the coverage starts at 2.30pm. But still it finishes at 5.30pm. Surely it will go to 6pm with all the breaks, etc??

Best bet is to just leave your TV on channel 7 and wait for it to start - whatever time it is.

I'm not sure if I go by "Eastern Victoria" or not, because I live in North East Vic but we get Melbourne TV.
Eastern Vic gets it live, but Melbourne gets an hour delay (which is what I think I get) not really sure though.

Ch7 have a sunday game each round which is shown delayed in Melbourne [3pm].I gather that game is shown live each week in other parts of Australia,except when V8 Supercars are on.

Do you only get Melbourne, FT? Regional stations aren't factory pre-set, have you tried manually tuning a spare channel into Prime? They'd be transmitting into Shepparton and across NE Vic, so unless you're dead-zoned by mountains I can't see why you wouldn't receive the signal. I get both Melb. and Traralgon from Pakky.

I've got Hotham & Buller around me, I think possibly blocking the path.
Considering I've lived here my whole life I'm not very good at the geography of this area.

We have Prime, but we go by Melbourne's TV guide and that's what we get.
It's so confusing.
I'll just leave Prime on (home alone and can have the "big screen" TV to myself) and wait for it to start.
One thing I've noticed is that the little "Prime" watermark thingo is on all the time except during the footy it says "7" confuuuuuuusing.

Ah, so you're picking up Prime already. Content's pretty uniform, which is why you can follow the Melbourne paps. I just checked an old TV guide and Prime televised the regular season's Sunday matches on delay, so listing this match as *live* IS new. Good sign.

All finals are live for me. Shits me. I was unable to go to our final vs Melb a few years back. In the TV Guide it said the game started at 3pm (like all Saturday games on Ch10) and I turned on at 2:50 and had missed the first quarter
