I notice from your last few posts footy fan that you must be a fan of jarrod alderton, he'll be no big loss for mildura apparently wanted big coin, not worth it for the effort he puts in

just going off what's in the paper. From what i read he is a premiership player for the demons, so he must hold some worth? I don't know how old he is or what his personality is like but he may not hold footy up there as a high a priority as others?

I think he's a fair player, would get a game at any of the SFL clubs.

Mid 20's and has been playing seniors since he was about 16. He hasn't had a pre season as long as i can remember because unlike everyone else Footy isn't his number 1 priority as he has travelled a fair bit.

He is a more then handy utility player from Ruckman through to roving.

Comments like that Oracle make you look like a tool that has no idea about Footy!

Also love the way some of you blokes slag him off from behind a computer when face to face you wouldn't say a word!

I heard Imps have signed a fellow from melbourne, Sam ...? didn't catch his last name in the full conversation. He is to be A/Coach and has played for Perth and in 2008 captain of a side in Essendon. Played with Atky somewhere... Mildura interviewed him as well, offered big money and job at Ray White as they have some with Anstey and Obree leaving

Didn't realise I was slagging him off, someone made the comment that he could play in any SFL side, I would like to see who he would take out of the senior side at Imps.

Look at some of the players that play in his positions.

CHB - Rohdes
HBF - Moloney, Kelly
CHF - Petrie
HFF - Douglas, Thomas, M.Hickey, R .Hards
on ball - R. Hards, B. Hards, Clohesy, M.Hickey etc...

I think you might just have a grudge against him, possibly due to the fact he always enjoyed giving it to Imps when i played with him.

His style of play and flexibilty is appealing to coaches and he is the type of player that you always find a spot for. The players you mentioned might be ahead of him but i would guarantee he would get a game at Imps very easily as there is a lot more spots available then just those you listed.

I agree, he wouldn't be the first picked in any one position but you'd have him in your side as he can go to a number of positions if your struggling. Didn't he pretty much win Mildura a big game off his own boot in one quarter a year ago?
I think I'd have him in my side before Daniel Hickey.

i agree if he was asking for big coin at the demons they have done the right thing, robinvale might be able to slot him somewhere into the their side but other then that he's bout as useless as titts on a bull.

Think one of the main reasons he may have gone to Robinvale is because he is related to Troy Moncur (Coach). I am pretty sure they are cousins

You just reinforced my point that he wouldn't get a game because Imps arn't struggling, so if your side isn't struggling he wouldn't get a game!


And you have to be kidding right, Hickey would be stronger and 2-3 inches taller but they are both as lazy as each other. And when Hickey was Aldertons age he was playing in the Interleague sides and was part of the interleague side that went to Yarra Valley and won it from my recollection I can't remember Jarrod playing interleague, but I could be wrong.

Very Intresting no conformation any where then?????

And some 1/some club with a long term focus might be exactly the challenge some players that are striving to be coaches seek.

Obviously financial aid is of assistance But if the player plans to be hear for a while why not start at a club that is not already at the top. if he is worth his salt he will get them there.

Not reserves you'll find!! EDFL has 2 divisions, he played for a side in Div 2. Previously played for Perth in the WAFL year b4 last, played in school/jnr NSW state footy sides, not sure/can't find anything linking him to TAC u/18's footy.

Senior Assistant Coach Wanted - Robinvale FNC

The Robinvale Football & Netball Club is affiliated with the Sunraysia Football & Netball League. Robinvale is located 80km from Mildura, Victoria.

Robinvale Football & Netball Club prides itself on being professional and family friendly. The club was runners up in 2006 and 2008.

To assist in taking the next step the club is looking for a quality midfielder playing assistant coach. An excellent and attractive package including remuneration, travel and incentives is available to the right applicant.

The 2009 season will see Robinvale host 3 exciting inaugural initiatives, including:
a. Heritage match playing in the club�s original Guernsey.
b. Ladies day supporting the NBCF playing with a pink sherrin.
c. An 'Indigenous match' playing in a one-off Aboriginal-inspired Guernsey.

Other opportunities at the club include:
- A Key positional player
- A playing or non playing reserves coach.
