I have never really been superstitious
however, i am starting to develop some after i bought a new pair of shoes. I got a pair of adidas cricket shoes to replace the asics runners that I have always used for cricket, because i was slipping too much in the field.
I was coming of a 5 for (which included a bloke who had a WACA contract last year) and a 2 for bugger all in my first 2 games of A grade.
since i bought the shoes I have contributed 0 wickets and 9 runs in 3 games against sides that are alot worse than the teams i got wickets against (got wickets against the two grand finalists last year).
could be because of the switch to one day cricket, but I am considering getting rid of the shoes.
theres a guy in my team who wont allow us to run around the oval in the warmup unless we go in an anticlockwise direction, and noone is allowed to touch his stuff or he spits it.
what are your superstitions?
(i tried to search for an old thread but the search shit itself)
