Supporters lining up last night???

Driving through the centre of Geelong last night I couldn't believe it when I noticed a handfull (10-20) of what appeared to be Geelong supporters lining up at about 10PM outside of Bay City. They looked in for the long haul with thick jackets, beanies, hot drinks, blankets and with reclining deck chairs, but I couldnt and still cant understand why.

Does anyone have any idea why these people were lining up because I dont have the faintest idea!

Possibly AFL members who still need to line up for their tickets that go on sale in half an hour.
