does anyone on here actually know or is it all speculation? obviously the draw will need to be done again if they are not going through with it
still undecided ive heard but all will be revealed in the next 2 weeks at a secret meeting at the lake boga hotel
i only know this because the place is bugged

Was just watching a dvd of the Aussies' world cup triumph the other night. Are England's Andy Caddick and St Mary's stalwart Ray Power twin brothers?

Come on fellas this thread has gone a bit quiet. Has any clubs started training yet???
ive been training kelvin, ive been standing on the chinkapook train line headbutting alternate carriages in preperation for tooleybuc
by the way i waited for a red train, just to simulate being cracked in the head by something red
either that or join mythbusters

I may as well start training as footy has turned to s h i t!!!

I agree with Kelvin, i think it's about time we fired up this thread ahead of a much-anticipated cricket season.

Kelvin, is Dan NcNees officially residing in town or is he travelling back each week?

What's going on out at Nyah? Who's coaching and is it true Mustards Boulton is going to dye his hair black?

What the hell is going on with Boga? Are they goin to play A grade? A little birdy told me a final meeting will be held to decide their fate in the coming weeks??

Is Al Ward on the brink of retirement?

Can Jarrod Arentz actually make more runs than goals this season?:thumbsu:

was chatting to a man when i was running boundary for the colts on saturday who said that darren isn't even thinkin bout playing with anyone in this league.
if richie dies his hair he will seriously pull more chicks. i think i might get a chance at bowling with the new ball in tandem with timmy butcher.

Richie can do whatever he likes with his hair, it won't affect his performance, just as long as he doesn't change the colour of those mustard jocks

league meeting last night, very little bought up, nuly wanted a grade games changed to 70 overs, ppls thoughts??
A Grade at Lake Boga will be decied in next few weeks, draw wont be finalised until they come to a firm decision, so at this stage looks like they will drop back, meaning A Grade will revert to playing each team twice.
Watch out for a few pommies ending up at Swan Hill, Alan Hatcher is now staying, Kade Groat will be shattered.
Young Brendan Shephard to play senior cricket out at Nyah this season. Interesting move.
Jamie King captain of StMary's, can this be confirmed?

Who are all the captains of clubs this upcoming season.

Any other recruiting goss??

70 overs for A grade is no good. Is Luffman one of the Poms??

no, the governer is still polishing shoes i think, he wont be heading across to the land of convicts. Apparently two blokes from Joels team last season. Although, as stated, dont count nothing until they are here.

Captains:
RSL- Ryan Hinton??
Woora- Luke Crow
SH- Joel Spry
StM- Jamie King or John Mensforth?
Tool- Jeremy Barnes?
Nyah- ????
ULTUFCC- Todd Brown??
Null- ?????

Well i hope they are better than Luffman any way!!! Nothing decided down at North Park on the Captaincy front. JT is still deciding who he likes better. I think he is leaning towards Brad Carroll even if he doesn't play!!!

I am tipping Wade "Yella" Humphries will be leading the troops out at Culgoa and news just in -- Expect the enigmatic Ryan Currie to step up in season 2006/07 for the Maroons

Enigmatic, don't you need to have some sort of ability to be labelled an enigma?

oooooohhh little bit harsh there on the former Tiger. He has ability. i remember distinctly the day he top-edged me over the backyard fence for six. It was a proud day for Goyne Crescent. Cricket was the real winner though.

You better believe it:thumbsu: Those under 14 bats were a delight

Really?? I like the idea of 70 over games. Hot 40 degree day standing in the field for 80 overs can be very frustrating and tedious at times. Surely 10 less overs won't matter too much, just make boring batsman have to play with a bit more aggression a bit earlier in their innings, and give the rest of us a chance to slip off the field 40 minutes earlier and slip into a nice cold one.

Isn't that a wicket to you. Most of the backyard cricket i have played in is 6 and out!
