Why is everyone hatin' on Steven Johnson? Clearly the 2nd best small-forward behind LeCras and should have been in the starting 18.

Because the first part of his season was shitful? People have very short memories when it comes to AA selection.

Completely agree with the poster earlier about Goodes' season. It seems as though unless he is BOG every game he's had an inconsistent year.

Johnson has been more consistent than Milne, Betts and most other small-forwards.

I'm more pissed off, that Mr.Inefficient Disposal Chris Judd, keeps getting in, unwarranted, year in, year out.

Judd gets smashed by the media and public but he carries that club on his back. Without him they would be a rabble, inefficient disposal or not. He is still in the best 10 players in the AFL.

In my opinion, Marc Murphy is way better than Chris Judd dude. I would give up anything for Murphy. He is a classy player and a very clean user of the ball.

I think Marc Murphy would work well in our midfield for the same reason he works well playing next to Judd. He plays a guy who does a huge amount of grunt and inside work. He'd get that with us too playing alongside Jack, Kennedy, Jude.

He is a fantastic player but he is much more valuable playing alongside Judd.

As S120 said he would be half the player he is without Judd. Judd is a machine inside and deserves his selection. He is almost underrated now. Same with Goodes. Same with Franklin.
