Cant help but have a little chuckle about this one, though if dreams come true then i guess were going to make history.
Also is great to hear these words come from someone who i think should be a future capton of the club.

future captain! I'll drink to that. Top 4, sure 9/9 and yes.

lol definitely future captain, top 4 is a bit unrealistic. we always start each game slow and come back in the 2nd half so i dont see it as a turning point.

I wish I had Malceski's optimism. Winning 9 in a row is possible, but what are the reasons to not win 9 in a row? I can think of heaps.

Its great to see him praising on their efforts against the Cats, and it maybe enough to help us across the line come finals time. But I doubt it. However, it's refreshing and heartwarming to see that the club has that confidence, because probably the majority of the Swans supporter's hopes for a top 4 finish has been deflated.

It pisses me off that he say there was an "upbeat feeling in the rooms afterwards".. how can they be feeling upbeat after kicking 2 goals in the 1st half for the second week in a row?

Anyway, i guess it's good they are staying positive?

Thought the same from the coaches comments. We played 2 quarters of football, an effort that would see us beat by every side in the Top8 plus a few of the others. Yep it was a quarter more than last week but nothing to get so positive about. I guess the coach had to balance his thoughts from last week but across the team it was not a performance to be all that positive about.

Particularly given it was such an uneven performance. Our best 6-8 players were pretty good. But our worst 4-6 were attrocious and were the difference in winning and losing. You'd hope that 4-6 were hanging their heads in shame and asking to be dropped next week.
