I might be able to fend off without any physical contact,
kick half a dozen goals without panting,
and banter til the cows come home whilst chewing grass at the same time.
But my photographic memory on things that count, negate the need for me to take photos of my newly shorn patch.
And using a flash out there now might scare the bats into shitting all over my car again.

Is that Digitaria sanguinalis? I would recommend 1.34ml of water per grass strand to assist in the hydration process and to bring forward the green hems. This can be properly done with a small watering can, measuring out the appropriate amount per strand and treating each strand like it is your own kin. Please ensure you look after it daily, and watch the forecast so you can best put the tarps over it if it is likely to rain.

Probably, if that's the ancient latin for a mixture of grass and weeds.
It's a patch of the front verge that technically the council owns. So no tarps.
We've had some lengthy periods of no rain this last month or so, with heaps of rain in between, which probably explains the dryish bits.
