The main culprit is the way in which Xenforo thread links include the entire thread title, making those links twice as long as vBulletin did. I just did a test and found that removing that text from the link seems to leave the link itself totally operational (just keep the sequential number and the period preceeding it). So with a bit of editing, sigh, a bit more work, all should be ok.

Remove the thread title leaving the .sequential number bit :

Post as a url link

Click that link and it works, re-inserting the relevant text of the link and bringing up the correct thread.



As a result :

Season 17 complete up to last completed round.
