Media Sweet FA Sum of Ranks

On Hate's Sweet FA+, each player profile indicates where that player is ranked - in the history of the league - for a large range of statistics. Here is my page, for example (see the "League Rank" column):

What I'd like to know is who has the best 'Sum of Ranks'. That is, the smallest cumulative number ranking across desired statistics like hitouts, kicks, marks, handballs, tackles, goals, and DT points. Let's take a look at some league favourites:

Tarkyn_24

Hitouts: 65th
Kicks: 3rd
Marks: 45th
Handballs: 35th
Tackles: 6th
Goals: 1st
DT: 3rd
Total: 158

TheInjuryFactory

Hitouts: 454th
Kicks: 92nd
Marks: 303rd
Handballs: 82nd
Tackles: 16th
Goals: 210th
DT: 88th
Total: 1,245

Mobbs

Hitouts: 127th
Kicks: 12th
Marks: 2nd
Handballs: 10th
Tackles: 74th
Goals: 90th
DT: 15th
Total: 330

Nice idea. Hitouts is a very niche, one position per team/game amasser though. How come you’ve included hitouts Headless?

That's fair - could easily do a version without! I wasn't really sure on which ones to include. How would you structure it?

I think without hitouts the formula you have is pretty bloody spot on.

Look at Crowwy, recorded his first ever hit out like two seasons ago I think haha.

But we need to also take into account longevity. A multiplier of sorts, utilising number of games played.

Have stopped using hitouts now, and added my score for a comparison (77 more games).

Total: 425 (0.91 points per game)

So yes, I'd say Roylion is about twice as selfless as Headless.

Hmmm, we're almost there. But those with multiple premierships and All-SFA selections need to be penalised somehow.
