Sydney accomodation recommendations?

Hi, We are off to the scg game in July staying two nights. I'd be interested in any recommendations for accomodation, that people have tried with success. I plan to look on wotif.com etc but are looking for room/s to accomodate 6 crows fans

I guess darling harbour/central would be good spots?

Budget aimed for would be around $40 - $50 a head

I've stayed at the Lesuire Inns Park Regis, 27 Park St, Sydney the last two times I have been there. It's reasonably priced and centrally located. You're only a short walk away from the mall and circular quay.

For $40-$50 you're probably looking somewhere around the Kings Cross area. An extra $10 will get you some company for the night. Or so i'm told.
