the correct answer is move all of Melbournes' nightlife to Perth... or move all of Perths' hot ladies to Melbourne

I'd go with the former in this case.

Reason: the weather.

Result: less clothing on teh wimmenz.

Conclusion: Perth's nightlife will now be the envy of the country. Not just because it will have a better nightlife due to it receiving Melbourne's, but also because said nightlife will be full of wimmenz with teh less clothing thanks to Perth's warmer climate.

Final statement: everyone's a WINRAR.

women in Perth are better than sydney and melbourne??

OP good question..dont know sydney enough to make an informed decision.. when i was there there was a lot of nice women especially from all around the world. manly was good area at night

melbourne has great nightlife and football...cold in winter

whenever i go to another city for a holiday i always think to myself theres so many hot girls here

whenever i go to a shopping centre on the other side of town i always think to myself thers so many hot girls in this area

whenever i talk to guys from interstate they're always like theres so many hot girls in melbourne

Think of the 2 cities like women.

Sydney is for that young hot lusty affair whereas Melbourne is the woman you would ultimately end up marrying.

Having lived in Sydney my whole life I say that I have no idea because I have never set foot in a Sydney club. The beaches is a great place to eye off women though, you can always pick up there I would guess.

On the OP tbh you'd have to get someone whose been to both cities and is an objective viewer.

Yep. :thumbsu:

I have never been to Sydney, so I am inclined to say Melbourne, but i would like the Sydney (mainly NSW coastline) beaches in Melbourne.

Other than the beaches, Melbourne.

These Melb vs Syd threads always turn to crap.

Also surprised someone from Sydney hasn't mentioned the Opera House or the Olympics yet.

I'd love to live in Sydney for a few years. Sure there's little footy, but sometimes it's good to live in a foreign city and just be a stranger rather than a local. You see it in a different dimension. Melbourne is too familiar.

it's a pretty good argument. looks like melbourne is winning at this stage

anyone else had experience living in both?

Melbourne..no.1 place on earth for sport and women.

Sydney has the Opera house and the gay & lesbian mardi gras.

The idea of bringing Melbourne nightlife to Perth is the ideal outcome.

But seriously, besides the nightlife I can't stand Melbourne. Largely based around the fact that the weather sucks and most other activites can be found elsewhere in Australia in areas with a greater climate.

Sydney is nice and has good beaches but is just to expensive to travel. It's warmer as well which is a major bonus and nightlife is not too dissimilar from that in Melbourne. Overall I'd rather live in Sydney, better beaches/weather and nightlife goes alright, shame it's such an expensive place to live.

If I had a choice to live in any Australian city, it would be Melbourne, and I will probably move there for a bit once my degree is finished. The cultural heart of the nation, a great love and respect for sport, good size, more to do... When I went for a holiday there earlier this year, I didn't want to come back to my town :(

And plus less regulation. Western Australia would have to be the most over-regulated place on the planet, North Korea and other tyrannies aside . Ridiculous trading laws (including shops, pubs and all) among other nanny laws. Oh and also the whining, conservative culture of many of the people here.

I currently live on the outskirts of Sydney and have been to Melbourne many times, and I have come to the conclusion that Melbourne is a better place to live than Sydney but Sydney is definately a more spectacular city with a lovely coastline.

It terms of nightlife Melbourne also gets the thumbs up and obviously the footy factor is a very big advantage.

In terms of women well Sydney has some absolute stunners around Bondi Beach but a Melbourne girl who enjoys sport is surely the best.

Melbourne-3 Sydney-0
