I saw Geelong's new crest yesterday and could not believe that a traditional club would need to change to a horrible 3D cat picture for marketing purposes. We recently simplified our own crest dropping the latin etc.Many fans I have spoken to are not happy with our change.I was wondering what the majority of you guys think of our own new crest and also Geelongs?

Ours is simple and it works. Geelong's is horrible, but then they have always had shitty emblems.

Personally, I much prefer out logo with the "Mens sana in corpore sano" than the new plain one - have no idea why they changed it.

As for the Cats, I think it's horrid.

When did Geelong change their logo, cant say i knew about it, has any1 got a picture of it? As for ours I did prefer the old 1.

the new cats logo i'm sorry to say is just plain awful. also prefer the old days of the blues logo, with the latin. still to this day the only latin phrase i can recite haha. maybe the club is embracing the fact that latin is virtually a dead language, used almost exclusively in slogans of sporting clubs and universities

theres been a mixed reaction to the hawks one as well. I quite like it, tho my housemate whos a Hawks man, doesnt at all


back on topic, that geelong defies physics-it both blows and sucks, at the same time

Prefer the traditional, frilly-style embossed CFC with the mens sano etc., and EST 1864.
