Personally I think he was rushed into the team and should have been made to earn his spot rather than just have it handed to him...I never really rated him that much, I think he is way too inconsistent. I know he is capable of dominating an attack but seriously how often does he do that?

The question is, have YOU watched any cricket over the past 5 years? I think i'd slot Hayden ahead of Symonds, so i don't know how you can say Roy is in our top two.

Never rated him? Roy is one of the best in the world at the one day game, he can now build an innings and also blast when needed, his bowling is handy.. hopefully he is able to bowl more overs as the tourney goes on, and his fielding is amazing.

Symonds HAS earned his place in the team. He has been out injured for a short time. If Chris Judd was injured, would he have to earn his place back in the West Coast team?

18 months? You do realise Hayden wasn't even in the one day side since our England tour until 6 months ago dont you? And was absolutely rubbish until his 3 drop ton in Perth months later.

He has physical presence and intimidation that someone like Hodge can only dream about.
