The major problem with that bet as I see it is with Geelong and Richmond.

You have Geelong to get the highest score of the round, Richmond the lowest and Geelong to win by more than 60 points and the total points for the game as 161 - 170. For that to work you would need Richmond to score say 50 points, Geelong say 115 and hope nobody else scores more than Geelong. Seems highly unlikely that the round high score would be that low and also that Richmond's score will be that low.

Had 50 clams on a horse from Toowoomba which ran in Sydney yesterday called Choistar. Was nearly tailed off at the turn and flew home to win by 5 lengths hardly touched and paid around $14. For those who follow the nags, this thing could be something special. One to watch over the brisbane winter carnival.

Did anyone hear what Butch Londregan said he was going to do? Bloody pi55er. He said he's got 10 jumps horses in work at the moment and he's going to shoot all of them, cut there heads off, and send them to Rob Hulls. That'll teach em.

Also, best bet of the year is tomorrow in the BTC cup. Swiss Ace will win and turn the tables on Apache Cat from last year. I have followed this horse from it's first start and it's an out and out star. Even had a little nibble on it when it won the Oakleigh Plate @ $37 earlier this year. It will go straight to the front and nothing will run it down.
