Whose gonna be our tagger next year
Jackson seems to get destroyed by some blokes but do ok on others but im not sure i see him as our number 1 tagger does have massive endurance but often hunts the footy and gets out smarted out the back of the pack, Nothing more annoying than watching a bloke niggle and scrag his tagger while the umpire holds the footy but once its bounced is nowhere near him.
Johnson has done a very good job but in the twilight of his career might be more suited to playing a different more natural role, johnson is a very good ball winner tagging isnt his natural game but he has been forced to do it as we havent had much else ... eg. Chris "Goodes Ended My Career" Hyde
i would not be at all suprised to see one of the blokes new to the club put in that role to begin with
Hislop and Thomson
both known for loving the hard stuff
both very good in traffic
both better by hand than foot
both meant to have had poor attitudes at previous clubs what better way to challenge urself than playing on the games best
the other name that springs to mind is Coglahn who was used in a negating role (while he had OP well done danny) for a few games and did quite well
i remember him towelling up adam goodes actually
but i think cogs can just concentrate on actually getting onto the field first
a natural ball winner a natural talent and an exceptional reader of the game if he can get back close to 100% would be a waste as a tagger
any other ideas?

. I wanna see Polo tag. He's great 1 on 1. I reckon Polo is the type of tagger who would usually get more touches than his opponent
