an ignored poster is someone you ignore... that person may think the world of you and hang on your every word... they still read what you write.

And the reason you would bother is because you are irascible about this topic, every time Soph mentions the word GWS you feel the need to question her loyalty and her motives. You might not like it but at the end of the day it's her time and money and no one else has to right to tell her how to spend them.

This this and more this. Baja, you and bedders need to pull your heads in, it's getting pathetic. And you just keep at it, dragging any posters into it that you can. I've been to one GWS game in my life, and that was against the red and white, not that that matters to either of you.

lol Ive been told to pull my head in by Casper the friendly ghost. Stat I really don't believe Ive said anything out of line.
There would lucky to be 20 posters that read this part of our board, and most seem to be Sydney based so I doubt you would really get a true idea on how most Swans fans would feel on the subject. Go haunt some houses.
 
Were not going to reach consensus but for you younger fans, not just South because older Sydney fans will understand too.

We've been there, re starting from scratch more than once. We never had the resources or the help given to the giants. the other clubs and the administration stood at the sidelines pointing and laughing and talking about closing the whole thing down. And that was in the 90s, after we had moved to sydney for over a decade. That ewxpirance is not unique to south supporters alone, that threat was on all of us.

It's only in the last few years we seem to have really got a foot in the door in terms of building a consistent support base and establishing a culture. And right when that’s been established another club has turned up right on the doorstep.

To some this is great for foootball but others it's a threat to our very existence when we have lived every step of a lifetime of trepidation and hidden agenda's from other clubs and league administration for decades. We see everything and every team as an enemy as we trust nothing and with a sad wisened reason.

some see GWS as an enemy, not a friend, much as the Eagles and Dockers would see each other. Ironically GWS fans love to mock Swans supporters on their board as not real sports fans and theater goers.

the joint love between the two clubs in one direction and it's not shared.

So this is going to be the only thing I have to say on the issue as I don’t hate GWS either.

So give them some joint support for a while but when the time comes they threaten to surpass us on the ladder or indeed make the eight, see that you hate them as their the enemy, if by that point you don't than we have a problem.
