I have to with people like baja around.
On a lighter note, i shed a few tears today when a team i coached from U9's made it through to the Granny in their 1st ever year in the finals. It restored my faith in footy after last nights crap, these kids have been bullied and have had lots of set backs in their time and now its U15's and time to win a flag. The only downside for me is that my young one is having a year off and that hurts.

Holy shit, holy shit, holuy shit.

I just met, shook hands with and hugged Adam Goodes. Standing at the bar at Hugo's in Kings Cross (a god foresaken place for the most part), I turn my head and who should be standing there but the great man himself. I run outside to get my only other Swans supporting mate. Can't find him. Run backj inside and he's still at the bar. Work up all my courage. Tap him on the shoulder...doesn't register with him. Work up all my courage once more. Tap him on the shoulder again. He reacts and turns to me. "I've been a member since 2000 and I just want to say what an honour it is to meet you" I say, whilst extending a hand to be shaken.

He takes my hand, shakes it and then brings me in for a hug. No joke. I hugged him in the ultimate guy handshake/hug.

Holy ****. i don't care how drunk I am right now (I have had a lot to drink admittedly). This is ****ing brilliant.

Was a great game Spain were stiff, too many first half fouls to the big fella he had to ease up in the second half..

And S120 I blame you if Goodes has another bad game out on the turps with our skipper on a sunday night, Dane Swan got suspended by his club for doing it.

What's he doing out on Sunday night? He should be in a hyperbaric compression chamber/oxygen tent healing his quad, and watching tapes of the great forwards like Plugger, Dunstall, Carey & Roberts-Thomson on a continuous loop.

I'm phoning the membership department to register a complaint.

Looking forward to the closing ceremony tonight although I can't find it on my foxtel channels? Pretty sure its only on free to air, whats with that?

Liam Gallagher, Naomi Campbell, Russell Brandt, George Michael, Kate Moss, The Who.. Lucky they don't drug test the entertainment.

I was on the phone on the bus talking to my dad and had to speak a little louder as the bus was pretty noisy and when i hung up this lady just yelled out "Noisy Noisy Noisy" i was like heck off
 
Hmm... Got offered a role in a Pilot for a tv show that will hopefully get shown on SBS next year...

Usually I would accept an offer like this without a secodn moments thought.. BUT the filming dates are pissing me off..

Every weekend in September except Grand Final Weekend... (Cue cursing here...)

Opportunity that may only come around once or Swan's finals matches...

Cheers. I'm usually pretty good at keeping track of Aussies through the ATP site but usually just keep track of players playing in ATP events not challenger. Furthest down I usually look is the qualifying rounds for the tournys to see who we have pushing for a spot on the tour.

Hopefully can watch a bit of Tomic's match tomorrow!

EDIT: Geeze, he isn't playing tomorrow... has had a very disjointed tournament, playing his first match Sunday, second on Tuesday and it seems third on Friday.
